Follow-up activities

• Teachers, parents, priests, ministers, and rabbis can remind young people of the importance of the promise they have made;
  
  
• Communities can begin planning for next year's Day of Concern and Student Pledge Against Gun Violence;
  
  
• Older students can continue to read and discuss Scorpions or Twelve Shots.
  
  
• High-school and middle-school students can continue to visit elementary school classrooms to talk to the younger children and/or read them Chessen's or Lorbiecki's book.
